Pointy is open source which means it's yours
Would you buy a car that didn't allow you to open the bonnet and obliged you to only use the dealership's mechanics? Of course not. We think a website should be no different.
When you buy Pointy you get to own it. Not many CMSs do this and will try to tie you into expensive monthly contracts with no freedom to alter functionality to suit your business needs. We hope that we're good enough to provide ongoing service to you but if for any reason you don't agree there is nothing tying your business to us. We like freedom and we figure you like freedom too.
